NORWEGIAN FJORDS FOR SALE
14.1 hh stallion, Anvil’s Lyn, CFHA #3059, NFHR # 07-7318-S, was born May 4, 2007. Sire: Leidjo CFHA #370 NY #N1945 (we imported from Norway) Dam: Anvil’s Lyna CFHA #413. Dam’s Sire: Rudaren CFHA #74 NY #N1853 (we imported from Norway). Lyn has been driven in a pair with our gelding, Magnum. Has had some single driving and has been ridden around the 320 acres. Orville’s choice if he is coming up for lunch from the corrals and doesn’t want to walk so will ride Lyn up. Tie him up to the hitching rail come in and have lunch, while Lyn stands quietly. Summer of 2017 we hauled Lyn, Magnum, Mina and Katie to Alberta, to visit our daughter and take part in a wagon ride. Lyn stood quietly the entire 16 hour trip which included blowing a tire on the trailer, limping to a parking area to change. Then getting the tire fixed as not a good idea to be going through the mountains with no spare. All in all was a long day for the horses that were incredibly well mannered the entire time.

Sire: Anvil’s Lyn, sired by Leidjo CFHA #370 NY #N1945 (we imported from Norway) and Dam:Anvil’s Magdalena CFHA# 2580 sired by Anvil’s Regin CFHA # 407. Magda is 14.1 hh as a new three year old. She is used to tie stall, hitching rail and being handled when brought in to do some ground work and now ridden in different terrain. Or if trail riding and some dressage is what you are aiming for, Kari can help you fulfill your dreams as a wonderful riding and/or driving companion. She is a amazing all around Fjord mare.

Anvil’s Katrina–Congratulations to Maria Wellman of Regina, Sask. on her purchase of Katie and her amazing daughter, Anvil’s Katalina.
Brown dun mare, Anvil’s Katrina, was born May 13, 2008. Sire: Peppertree’s Christian and Dam: KeJaCo’s Katja. Katie is registered with the NFHR, # 08-6043-M. Katie has been ridden on trails, driven single and pair with OFI Wilhelmina. Katie is an extremely athletic mare and naturally well balanced and changes leads effortlessly when driven in a competitive cones course we did at CanDrive 2017. On the way to Invermere, BC for CanDrive 2017, a friend blew her transmission in her truck just before the summit of Kootney Pass. We moved some stuff around and stuck Katie up next to our ATV and loaded Auriel in Katie’s stall. Katie is so adaptable. She accepts whatever we ask her to do and willingly. At CanDrive Katie experienced many different experiences for the first time. Multiple dressage rings, cones course, hazards, into water, crossed a wooden bridge, had lessons every day with a different clinician and tried out on of Barry Hook’s, from the UK, rubber bit. Katie really liked it. During the last day with the Derby competition, Orville drove Katie through course and one of the Clinicians, Stacy Giere, also drove Katie for the clinicians section of the Derby competition.
Anvil’s Katalina–Congratulations to Maria Wellman of Regina, Sask. on her purchase of Anvil’s Katalina
This brown dun, 13.2 hh filly was born May 28, 2015. Lina’s sire is Anvil’s Lyn, son of Leidjo, and dam is Anvil’s Katrina, a daughter of Peppertree’s Christian and registered with the NFHR. http://www.nfhr.com/ponyweb/ponyweb.cgi?horse=8228&HorseName=anvil%27s%20katalina&Page=1&Sort=0
Lina has been long lined and ridden a few times. As she is just two we have not done much work with her other ground work such as standing in tie stalls, at hitching rail and any other every day chores. Lina should mature at 14.1 hh like her sire and dam. Easy to catch and a joy to handle and be around.
